bullet2 MINDMAPS

A very useful way to aid managing information is to use a mindmap. It can be used to order thoughts, plan a project, sketch out a report, guide a presentation, summarise an article, take notes from a lecture, remember key points etc. Instead of the linear form of text, mindmaps use a radiating layout, with lines, keywords, colours, pictures, etc. to show the main points to be remembered and their relationships. Although mindmaps are easy to draft by hand, there is an excellent and easy to use computer programme (MindManager) which can help you do this. It has revolutionised the work of several colleagues and is highly recommended. Try a 21 day trial version free from the Internet - visit: http://www.mindmanager.com
