Global deforestation rates have been expressed in many ways - x football
pitches per minute, or the area of Belgium per year. This visualises it as one
hectare per 3 seconds, which I think is understandable and memorable. It was
easy to draw the frames using a sector vector shape that was gradually opened
to 360 degrees. Timing of frames was adjusted to total three seconds,
