Germination

I found, when trying to copy a natural
process such as germination, how little I
really knew of the relative rates at which
the root and shoot grew. This animation is
a bit of guess work. Using a vector
graphic program, I was able to gradually
extend the drawing by "pulling" on the
lines, adding nodes, dragging them, etc.
The shaking and fading in and out are
applied by the software. Eyes and wink
just for fun!
