If you work in an open-plan office, remember that telephone conversations can be very distracting for
others. You don’t
need to yell into the phone for the other person to hear you. Keep the mouthpiece close and you will
be able to whisper. If
the other person is faint, don’t think it will help if you talk louder! Funny how we all imagine that!

phone users as well.
