COLOURED POTS
When a range of species and provenance seedlings are grown in plastic pots for planting out in
trials, there is a danger of
muddling them up. Labels can peel off or become unreadable. To solve this problem, use coloured codes
painted onto the
pots as blobs or stripes. Make sure your staff know what the codes stand for, and that they are not
colour blind!
