Seedlings in pots will suffer from loss of soil and breakage of roots as they are bounced in the back
of a Landrover
towards their place of planting. If you cover the pots with coarse expanded mesh, so that the plants
poke through, and the
soil and pots are pressed by the mesh, this will help stop them vibrating and loosening the soil.
