A challenge!
Creating minimalist vector art
When drawing direct on the computer screen, I prefer to start with vector graphics. Such drawings are
all made up of defined
points (nodes) linked with straight lines. Even smooth curves are made up of straight lines, but there
are so many the curve seems
smooth to the eye.
The challenge I give my myself (and you too) is to make a drawing that does the job using as few lines
as possible. if you want to
draw a square, of course you must have four lines. A circle, however, can be represented using twelve
lines (sometimes less). A
very passable human outline can be made from 36 lines. More complex insects may take more.

See how many lines you need to draw an object. Once you have drawn the figure, you can improve it by
dragging the nodes
(points where the lines join) around until the proportions are OK.
